  1. Yes, it's true.

    Think about someone who is obese and eats Twinkies and cookies everyday for a month.

    This person is still considered malnourished because he/she has been eating the same nutrients for too long. And this subsequently leads to malnutrition because he/she is also not getting the different vitamins and minerals your body needs to thrive.

    Prepackaged foods can be high in some particular vitamins, say for example Vitamin C. If you eat that same particular food for a long time, the problem is that you are only getting Vitamin C. What about the other essential vitamins and minerals? You need all of them.
